Welcome to BigFurs.com's story section. In this section you will find macro-themed stories, posted by fellow members of the community. Any registed member can read the stories within this archive (Although only mature members can see the adult stories) and contribute to the archive by posting their own stories.
Right now you will most likely find this archive to be rather small, and it will only grow by the contributions of writers. So if you're a writer, and even if you have some unposted story gathering symbolic dust on a corner of your hard drive, your contribution to this archive would be greatly appreciated.
Adding a story to the archive
Before sending us a story, you must be familiar with the following guidelines:- The story must preferably have a macro/micro theme, although any stories with anthro content will be accepted
- Please proofread your story before posting it. Stories that have a few typos won't be rejected outright, but stories that have something like one typo for every five words will be refused. Besides, you don't want people to think you can't use correct spelling, do you?
- Please separate your story in paragraphs, there is nothing more annoying than having a story in one massive mass of text, it's painful for the eyes and it kills a puppy somewhere in the world everytime you do it.
- And last but not least, do not post a story that you did not write, members who post other people's stories without their permission will be banned immediately. There are no excuses, everyone should be familiar with the meaning of the term "copyright".
When posting a story, be sure to check the "Adult" checkbox if the stroy contains adult themes. Also, you can enter some keywords, which will be used in the search engine (not yet implemented, blame procrastination).
All submitted stories will first be read by some admins of this section to see if it follows the guidelines, and then will be added to the story archive if accepted. This is used for safety reasons, so that unwanted and offensive stories do not make it to the archive. But don't let that intimidate you, most stories will be accepted, we're not a bunch of rich snobs with a tuxedo and a monocle who only accept superb stories.
Feedback
Don't forget that whenever you like a story you read here, don't be shy to give the writer some comments or feedback, I assume it will be appreciated
The story archive offers two means of feedback. First there's a comment session, where you can give the author some feedback, which will be displayed underneath the story. And secondly, for those not too keen on writing long feedbacks or having their names attached to it, a story recommendation feature has been implented. Whenever you read a story that you like, and think more people should get to read, all you have to do is click on the "Recommend" button at the bottom of the page.
